After School Electives

Please note: This class is NOT open to Montessori Elementary students.

Welcome to the ECP Montessori After School Pre-Ballet Program.  I am thrilled to begin the season of dance.  I love watching the development of our young dance students. They move with not only their bodies but their hearts.  Classes are held at the Montessori West Ferry campus on Fridays. The class will begin at 3 p.m. and finishes up at 3:45 p.m.  At this time, I hope that we will be able to have all of our ballerinas dancing together in one class time.

If there is an overwhelming response for the class, we may have to split into two sessions (in which case the second session would begin at 3:45pm and would be composed of enrollees who are in After Care). This dance experience will culminate with an Evening of Dance at the Cleveland campus. 

PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR BALLET DANCERS ARE DRESSED IN THEIR BALLET CLOTHES AT THE BEGINNING OF THEIR SCHOOL DAY ON FRIDAYS (UNDER THEIR UNIFORMS).

Unless specifically noted, all classes will occur on the West Ferry campus, on Fridays.

SHOW/REHEARSAL INFORMATION:

• May 20th Monday Rehearsal at Cleveland Ave.  (3 - 4:30 p.m.)
• May 21st Tuesday Rehearsal at Cleveland Ave.  (3 - 4:30 p.m.)
• May 22nd Wednesday Show at Cleveland Ave.   (6 -7 p.m.)

Dance Attire:

• The lady dancers will wear pink ballet slippers, thin white socks, black dance pants, and a black tank top.  This ensemble will allow the lady dancers freedom to move, a uniform look in class, and the convenience to wear the dance attire to school (eliminating the changing process).  A school uniform can easily be worn over, and taken off quickly for dance class.
   
• Gentlemen are to wear black ballet slippers, thin white socks, white t-shirt and black sweatpants.  Again, the gentlemen are to wear their dance attire to school.

 You may choose to place an order for your dancer’s attire with Bailey Slipper Shop; their phone number is (716) 634-0314. Pants $26.99 and tops $21.50 plus tax. Please call and tell them you are from Nardin and are purchasing items for your ballet dancer. They will contact Nardin when the order is in. 

Please note a 10% discount has been included in the required ballet outfit and 10% will be given to Nardin dancers for other dance supplies, all year long, with mention of Nardin. Pricing (subject to change): Pants are $26.99 and tops are $21.50 plus tax.

PLEASE LABEL EVERYTHING – all of the shoes and dance outfits are IDENTICAL!!!

Welcome to the ECP Montessori Afterschool Yoga Program. This class is designed to give children an introduction to yoga. Yoga promotes motor development - such as balance, coordination, and body awareness as well as teaching them calming techniques.

Classes are held at the Montessori West Ferry campus on Mondays. Practice begins at 2:45 p.m. and finishes at 3:30 p.m. If there is an overwhelming response for the class, we may split into two sessions - the second session would begin at 3:30pm and end at 4:15pm.

Unless specifically noted, all classes will occur on the West Ferry campus, on Mondays.

The charge for this program is $130. That payment is due no later than February 26, 2024. There is limited space for this class (16) so please send in your application as soon as possible. Click here to register

This four week workshop will explore printmaking, painting and weaving.
$130 per student. Class size is limited to eight (8) students. Cost of materials is embedded in tuition. Unless specifically noted, all classes will occur on the West Ferry campus, on Tuesdays.

Yoga With Miss Jamie III
West Ferry campus
Beginning the week of April 15th

This class is designed to give children an introduction to yoga. Yoga promotes motor development - such as balance, coordination, and body awareness - as well as teaching them calming techniques.

Classes are held at the Montessori West Ferry campus on Mondays. Practice begins in the early section at 2:45pm and finishes at 3:30pm; the second section begins at 3:30 p.m. and ends at 4:15 p.m.

The Early Class is at capacity. Please note any new submissions will be registered for the Late Class, from 3:30pm - 4:15pm.

Unless specifically noted, all classes will occur on the West Ferry campus, on Mondays.

The charge for this extended 6-week program is $180. That payment is due no later than April 5th, 2024. There is limited space for this class so please send in your application as soon as possible.
