Welcome from the President

Letter from Dr. Miles

Dear Parents and Visitors,

It is my privilege to welcome you to Nardin Academy, where Catholic faith, academic excellence, and a strong focus on community are intentionally balanced with personal growth in an environment designed to inspire every student, every day.

At Nardin, academic challenge is matched with intention. In our classrooms, you will see what thinking looks like at every age: tactile exploration and curiosity in early childhood, guided inquiry in the middle years, and disciplined research and reflection in advanced coursework.

Relationships shape growth here. Students are seen and known well and guided with purpose through consistent structures of care and connection—whether through advisory, prayer partners, or small-group mentorship within each division. Across transitions from Montessori through High School, students experience continuity in care, expectations, and support.

Our Catholic identity, rooted in the charism of the Daughters of the Heart of Mary, is lived in rhythm and in action. Faith formation at Nardin is invitational and formative, woven into prayer, liturgy, reflection, and service. Students are encouraged to engage their faith thoughtfully and to respond to the needs of others with compassion, integrity, and courage.

Nardin is a community built through shared participation. Students are invited to lead, to contribute, and to take initiative within a culture that values inclusion, responsibility, and joy in learning together. Belonging here is not passive—it happens organically through regular collaboration among faculty, students, and families who invest in one another and in the life of the school.

One of the great privileges of my role is meeting our alumni and witnessing the lives they are leading. Across professions and vocations, their confidence, curiosity, and commitment to service reflect the formation they received at Nardin. Since 1857, our mission has been to educate students of intellect, faith, and character, and the lives of our graduates continue to affirm the lasting impact of that purpose.

While this website offers a meaningful introduction, it cannot fully capture the energy, care, and thoughtfulness that define daily life at Nardin. Here, students are nurtured to be creative, curious, and critical learners; confident, ethical leaders; spiritually grounded; champions of equity and justice; and compassionate servants of others.

I invite you to discover more about Nardin by visiting our campus, experiencing our community firsthand, and beginning a conversation about how Nardin might partner with your family in your child's educational journey. You will continue to be inspired by the tradition we steward and the spirit of purpose, faith, and belonging that defines our community today.

Welcome to Nardin!
