TARC Teams Heading to Nationals
TARC Teams Heading to Nationals
Both of the Nardin Academy TARC (Team America Rocketry Challenge) teams have qualified to compete as part of 100 finalists in the Team America Rocketry Challenge National Finals in Washington, D.C. To earn this honor, each team outscored more than 700 other teams from across the country to place in the top 100 teams.

Sponsored by the Aerospace Industries Association, the National Association of Rocketry and more than 20 industry partners, TARC is the world's largest student rocketry contest, challenging students across the development and design process. Each team had to build a rocket to certain specifications that flew to exactly 800 feet, had a total flight time of between 41-43 seconds, and carried two eggs safely. Reflecting the innovative nature of aerospace, teams were encouraged to include 3D printing and other strategies into their designs.

Congratulations to our talented and hard-working group of students!
