On October 28, the Nardin Varisty and Novice Crew teams took part in the 48th annual Thomas Eakins Head of the Schuylkill Regatta, a rowing race held on the Schuylkill River in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Approximately 8,900 athletes crossed the finish line of a 2.5-mile scenic course in a tradition that dates back to 1971. The regatta draws competitors both from across the country and around the world. College crews race on Saturday along with the elite and masters rowers, while high school teams row on Sunday.
The Nardin results were as follows:
1st Varisty 4 - 8th place of 68 boats
2nd Varsity 4 - 7th place of 48 boats and 43/48 boats
Novice 8 - 6th place of 30 boats
1st Varsity 8 - 20th of 53 boats
2nd Varsity 8 - 20th of 56 boats
