On Tuesday, May 8, Nardin Academy generations gathered as the elementary and Montessori community welcomed over 200 grandparents for the 5th annual Grandparents Day.
Families were welcomed by President Marsha Joy Sullivan who gave a State of the School Address and by Nardin grandparent committee members Donna Gioia and Karen Mugas. Student performances, led by Mr. Mark Mazur and Ms. Cindy Hanna, included "The Well's Fargo Wagon," "Can You Feel the Love Tonight," and the poem "Fifty Nifty United States."
After the performances, grandparents had the opportunity to enjoy tours of the Montessori and elementary schools and visit classrooms with their grandchild.
Thank you to all who helped make this event a success, including our devoted grandparent committee members, Donna Gioia, Pam Jacobs, and Karen Mugas!
