Alyssa Nowicki '19 Named National Merit Scholarship Finalist

Nardin senior Alyssa Nowicki has been named a finalist in the 64th Annual Competition for National Merit Scholarships.

This honor is based on her SAT scores, her curriculum and grades for the past three years, participation in school and community activities, demonstrated leadership, honors and awards received and an essay she wrote for the application.

Approximately 15,000 finalists from a pool that began with more than 1.6 million juniors in 22,000 high school are being considered for close to 7,500 Merit Scholarships.
