Applying to Nardin Academy


Open House:
Open House is the perfect opportunity for 7th and 8th grade girls and their parents to tour the school and meet faculty and staff. Our 2009 Open House will take place on Sunday, September 27th from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. and on Monday, September 28th from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Shadowing:
Shadowing gives 8th grade girls the opportunity to experience a full day at Nardin. Shadow visits begin on October 5th and can be scheduled at Open House or by calling Sienie Kelly, Admissions Director at (716) 881-6262 ext. 1380.

Entrance Exam:
November 21, 2009 at 8:30 a.m. 
The exam lasts approximately 3 1/2 hours and there is a $20.00 fee.

Acceptance Letters:
Letters of acceptance are mailed in late January, together with scholarship and financial aid notification.


What you need to know when applying to Nardin

The following is a brief explanation about the application process.

Complete the Formal Application
Applications for the Fall of 2010 will be available at Open House. This application is the same for all of the Catholic high schools in WNY.

Take the Entrance Exam
Students who list Nardin as their first choice on their completed application forwarded to Nardin by their elementary/middle school are automatically registered for the Entrance Exam. Registration is also accepted by phone. However, registration is not required for the Entrance Exam.

Transfer Students
Students wishing to transfer to Nardin must fill out the Nardin Transfer Application and forward a transcript of grades and essential information. This should be sent to the Admissions Office.

Annual Tuition and Fees for 2009-2010

• Annual Tuition $8,665 + Activity Fee $235 + Book Fee $100 to $300 (varies by grade)
• Sports Fee $151 (per sport)
