Seniors Named Commended Students in the National Merit Scholarship Program |
| Elementary Students Earn First and Second Place Nardin elementary students placed first in the St. Francis Elementary School Quiz Bowl where they competed against students from ten other schools. Also, teams from Nardin placed first and second in the St. Francis 2011 Math Bowl. At the Bishop Timon St. Jude Invitational Spelling Bee, Nardin placed second. Congratulations to the students who participated in these events.   |

Senior Cynthia Uwicyeza, a former refugee herself, recently got a job helping other refugee children, at the Boys and Girls Club after-school program. Cynthia came to Nardin with driving desires to better herself, and to help others. She is doing both, while inspiring others.
