Soccer - 5/6 Coed

Soccer is available to students in grades 5th through 8th. Soccer is a co-ed sport, with boys and girls playing on the same team at all age levels. 5th and 6th grade are separate from 7th and 8th grade.

Nardin participates in games with other city schools, and takes place during the Fall Sports season. The league's games begin in early September, usually the first or second weekend of school. The league games end at the end of October. Games are played once or twice during the week. Practice schedules are determined by each team's coach, but are usually held on weekdays (either right after school or in the evenings). Practices are held at one of the two soccer fields at the Kevin T Keane Sports Park at Nardin Academy or at the school in one of the gyms.

There is a cutoff date for sign ups, it is two weeks after the opening date on FamilyID. The athletic department needs to know how many players are interested, so we can identify coaches, and have enough uniforms ready for all players and register with the different leagues. If you sign your child up after the cutoff date they will only be added to a team if there is room.

Valid Sports Medical Physical Form must also be on file with the School Nurse. If you do not have a valid Sports Physical Form call your child’s doctor. If your child’s medical form at the school is NOT valid you will be notified. The Medical Sports Physical Form is good for 1 year. If it is valid the first day of that sport’s practice it will be considered valid for that sport’s season.
