Montessori Camp: A Summer of Fine Arts

June 12 - July 28
For boys and girls age 3 - completed Kindergarten year!

(Note: Camp is not in session the week of July 4th)

Guided by outstanding faculty and guest speakers, children will explore a wide spectrum of performing and visual arts. Campers will engage in painting, drawing, sculpture, theater, music, dance, and culinary arts.

Gator Days Enrichment Camp

June 12 - June 30
For boys and girls entering 1st - 6th grade

A fun and interactive camp wth opportunities for art, computers, outdoor play, athletics, swimming, drama, music, dance and more! Enjoy making new friends and exploring new experiences on our Cleveland Avenue campus.

Fun Fundamentals

July 31 - August 9
For boys and girls entering the Kindergarten year in 2017-18

Kindergarten readiness, singing, dancing, art, performances and outdoor play. Each day, a group of letters/sounds will be explored through: singing, dancing, art, outdoor play/gym and performance. Families will be invited to a special performance on the last day.

Experience Nardin Summer Camp

July 10 - July 21, 2017
For girls entering 6th, 7th and 8th grades

A two week summer program combining academics, friendship, and fun. Girls from all across Western New York will discover new skills in hands-on workshops that include theatre, music, art, engineering, robotics, computer science, creative writing, yoga and meditation. Additional practice entrance exam prep also offered for 8th grade girls!

Lego Camp

July 24 - July 28
For boys and girls entering kindergarten - 5th grade

Thematic lessons, learning games, building challenges, and model building. Campers will have access to further their learning about a topic, use their knowledge to inspire Lego building, draft narratives, present their work, be creative and make new friends. Additionally, campers will have opportunity to participate in many Lego Olympic events, which include arts and crafts, scavenger hunts and outdoor play.

Wilderness Explorers

July 17 - July 21
For boys and girls entering 4th - 7th grades

Daily field trips to explore habitats, birds, reptiles, amphibians, creek ecology, woodland plants and outdoor skills. Cost includes bus transportation daily. Run in partnership between Nardin Academy and Earth Spirit Education Services, Inc.

Chess Camp

July 17 - July 21
For boys and girls ages 5 - 16

This summer USA Chess is offering our exciting and entertaining chess camp at more than 100 locations nationwide. USA Chess is the largest and premier chess camp organizer for children in the United States. The staff is comprised of the finest children's chess instructors in North American. Registration options include mornings, afternoon and all-day sessions. Campers experience chess instruction and play in a fun filled environment designed to improve their skills whether they are interested in casual or competitive chess. Modding, Networking and Hosting with Minecraft

July 17 - July 21
For boys and girls ages 8 - 16

Minecraft is popular because it's collaborative, open-ended and moldable. Our program preserves those qualities and adds a large dose of fun! The week begins with learning the game, controls, recipes and a bit about hosting and networking. Next campers are connecting to different worlds hosted on our secure server and experimenting with character skins, mods and custom maps. By day three the kids are building in the Active Learning World that grows over time. Whether adding a room, building a moat or even creating a chessboard the possibilities are nearly limitless. This is a half-day program. Students can add an additional program to make it a full day camp.

Video Game Creation - 3D Concepts

July 17 - July 21
For boys and girls ages 9 - 16 (Intermediate to Advanced)

Children with prior experience with GameMaker software of are at least 10 years old will learn the principles used in making 3D style games while creating their own "home base defense games." Lessons include the principles of perspective, scale, infinity and other concepts. Students are challenged while allowing them to creativity apply their GameMaker skills and learn how game designers make the 2D computer screen "come to life" with 3D effects. This is a half-day program. Students can add an additional program to make it a full day camp.

Kodu Video Game Creation - Adventure

July 17 - July 21
For boys and girls ages 7 - 16

Children will have the option of learning how to program using a Microsoft Xbox controller! Students will create their own cool custom world and navigate through it. Within this world they will create tasks that need to be completed in order to progress to the next level. Some of those tasks include escaping a sewer maze, survival mode, outwitting rivals, creating decoys and collecting bonus items all while having fun! This is a half-day camp. Xbox controller is optional and supplied by the student. Students can add an additional program to make it a full day camp.
