President's Message

Welcome to Nardin Academy. Over 155 years ago, Nardin Academy was founded by the Daughters of the Heart of Mary, a society of religious women, as the first Catholic free school in the Diocese of Buffalo.

Today we continue their tradition of providing a strong, value-centered Catholic education in a close-knit community, while also creating new traditions—maximizing our use of and access to appropriate technological advances, while staying connected with far-flung alums, family and friends.

Every day, you find an energetic and enthusiastic student body, aged 18 months to 18 years, developing a love of learning in an atmosphere designed to enhance the body, mind and spirit.

Nardin Academy encompasses three unique schools: Montessori and elementary for boys and girls, and high school for young women. All three schools reflect our commitment to excellence in academic and character development.

Nearly 1,000 students benefit from the instruction of an outstanding and dedicated faculty and staff of 150 professionals. The Nardin alumnae association supports a network of more than 4,000 high school graduates living all over the world. Our board of trustees guides us to act strategically; to continually raise our expectations of ourselves, and to meet them.

I invite you to visit if you are new to us, or to come back for a visit if you've been away. We are a caring and close community, gathering for the benefit of the students that grace us each day.

We take pride in our traditions and are committed to the charism inherited from the Daughters of the Heart of Mary: To strive to enkindle the spirit of Jesus in the world and to pray and work for the reign of God in a just society.
