Senior Katarzyna Krzyzanska Named National Merit Scholar Semifinalist

On Wednesday, September 13, officials of the National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC) announced that Nardin Academy High School senior, Katarzyna Krzyzanska, has been selected as one of approximately 16,000 Semifinalists in the 63rd annual National Merit Scholarship Program. About 1.6 million juniors in more than 22,000 high schools across the country entered the 62nd annual National Merit Scholarship Program by taking the 2016 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test.

Krzyzanska joins a nationwide pool of semifinalists who represent less than one percent of U.S. high school seniors and include the highest-scoring entrants in each state. She will have the opportunity to continue in the National Merit Scholarship Competition, which offers approximately 7,500 National Merit Scholarships, worth over $32 million, each spring.

Congratulations, Katarzyna!
