High School Students Compete in State Latin Competition
High School Students Compete in State Latin Competition

On Sunday, November 5, 2017, four Nardin Academy High School students competed in the state Latin competition at Pittsford Sutherland High School.

The Level II Team, which consisted of Ashton Walter, Lauren Murphy and Grace Fitzgerald, placed 3rd overall out of 18 teams.

Katarzyna Krzyzanska represented the school for Level V, placing 3rd overall out of 10 teams.

Individual awards were as follows:

Grace Fitzgerald: 1st on the derivatives test, 1st on the vocabulary test
Ashton Walter: 1st on the pentathalon test
Lauren Murphy: 2nd on Roman civialization and culture test, 3rd on pentathalon test
Katarzyna Krzyzanska: 1st in the oratory competition, 1st on the derivatives, mythology and pentathalon test, 2nd on the Roman civilization and culture test
